Damn .. I missed this one ... like you I watched this with my dad ... years later I discovered that Bruce Lee actually produced the idea and tried to sell it to studios .. seemed they liked the idea but wanted a white person as the lead character ... a shame as Bruce was the man ... but I enjoyed David Carradine's portrayal ... a nice understated series .. how many of us have tried the old 'take the stone from the palm' trick on brothers/sisters in our time .?.?.
